Signtronix fights for the rights and well-being of America's small businesses
|
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 11th, 2006 – Torrance, CA – Signtronix (www.signtronix.com), the premiere sign manufacturer for small businesses across America, is proud to announce their involvement with and support of national and international sign organizations. These organizations are not only dedicated to the research and development of effective, on-premise signage, but they also play a critical role in fighting for the rights of business, both large and small, in cities and counties across the United States.
"Most business owners don't realize the tremendous value and impact a sign has on their business. The success or failure of their business can truly hinge on whether they have an adequate sign for their business." said Tom Johnson Jr., Director of Marketing for Signtronix. "If a business doesn't have the right exposure to the passing public, then they can be losing sales by the minute. And many times cities and counties across the country severely limit the type of sign businesses can have, if they allow them a sign at all. That's why having the signage organizations, like the International Sign Association and the Sign Foundation, is critical to fighting for the business owner's rights."
Signtronix has donated over $150,000 a year over the last five years to signage organizations to help them with legislation affecting small business and their signage, as well as research to develop the most effective signage for both business and consumer alike.
"Signtronix has helped conduct research to find the best visual factors to capture the attention of the passing customer while maintaining their safety while driving or walking." said Johnson.
"The continued research these organizations conduct are critical to the development of effective signage for business owners across the country. All signs are not created equal. We want to ensure the development of the right sign for the small business owner so they can thrive, leading to the American economy to thrive." said Tom Cummings, COO of Signtronix.
"Currently Signtronix is part of the International Sign Association (ISA), the California Sign Association (CSA), the National Electric Sign Assocation (NESA) and the Signage Foundation. Our executives have held leadership roles in these organizations over the years, most recently with our COO, Tom Cummings, as the Chairman of the ISA.", said Tom Johnson Jr.
Johnson continues, "Signtronix will continue to support these organizations because of their important role in helping people understand that signs have a critical role in helping the American economy by giving small businesses a chance to grow."
