All of our LED signs have the ability to display graphics and animations, but the monochrome and tri-color signs are limited to more simple graphics and animations. The full color LED signs display the best looking and most complex graphics, animations and photo-realistic images.
Even among the full color signs the quality of the images and animations (and video) depends on the resolution and aspect ratio of the sign. Each LED sign model has a different resolution which is mostly determined by pitch – or how close the pixels and LEDs are to each other. The different technologies within each model also plays a part.
The aspect ratio is the ratio of the sign's height to its width. It's very much like our TV's or computer screens. Some screen resolutions are only at 800x600 while others are 1920x1280.
The software that comes with each sign allows you to put your own graphics and animations together and on the sign itself. Ask your Signtronix Sign Company representative what will work best with your LED message center sign display.
